Dr Leila Heckman is a Senior Managing
Director at Mesirow Financial. Prior to that, she was a Senior Managing
Director at Bear Stearns Asset Management. She is the former
President and CEO of Heckman Global Advisors LLC., which she
formed in 2002. Previously, she was at Salomon Smith Barney
for 10 years where she was Managing Director in charge of Global
Asset Allocation. Prior to joining Salomon Smith Barney, Dr.
Heckman was Vice President at Alliance Capital (1990-1993) where
she worked in the International Equity Division. Before joining
Alliance Capital she held product development and managerial
positions at Sanford Bernstein (1987-1990).
Dr. Heckman received her B.A. in mathematics from Brown University;
an M.S. in Operations Research from Cornell University; and a Ph.D. in
Statistics and Operations Research from Polytechnic University. She
is a member of the Board of Trustees of Polytechnic University where
she heads up the Investment Committee for the Endowment Fund. She
also sits on the Fund Board and Investment Committee of the
Fieldston Schools. She is a member of the council on foreign relations. |

Dr. John J. Mullin is a Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial. Prior to Mesirow, he was a Managing Director at Bear
Stearns Asset Management (BSAM). Previously, he was a Managing Member
of Prism Global Advisors, LLC/Global Guardian Group, LLC. Prior
to Prism Global Advisors, Dr. Mullin was the Director and Chief
Equity Strategist of ABN AMRO in the Americas Division (2000-2001)
and the Latin America Division (1998-2000). Before joining ABN
AMRO, he was the Vice President and Chief Latin America Equity
Strategist of Salomon Brothers (1996-1998). And prior to joining
Salomon Brothers, he was Vice-President of the Global Asset
Allocation division at Smith Barney (1994-1996) and Senior Economist
at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (1989-1994). Dr. Mullin
received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California
at Los Angeles in 1989; and B.A. in Economics and History from
the University of California at Berkeley in 1981. |
